Information quality
What makes good quality information? What is the evidence that it matters? Where is the evidence of harm?
Accreditation schemes
These programmes aim to give a "kite mark" type seal of approval to organisations that produce health information. The focus is on their methods of content production.
- HON Code (International, independent)
- Information Standard (English Department of Health)
- NHS Evidence Accreditation (for Clinical Guidance)
Rating schemes
This type of scheme looks at the information itself and rates its quality using a scoring system. This allows to you view lots of information from different sources, like Google, except ranked according to quality.
